Dialect learning & entertainment short video app

This dialect-themed, one-stop short-video app for learning and entertainment uses video production tools and adopts the UGC model to deliver humorous dialect mini-videos to its users. We have incorporated daily dialect-dubbing check-ins and timely activities to boost user engagement. Embracing the operating philosophy that uses dialects as mediums, we aim to bring users the warmth of their hometown and the novelty of other places, thereby promoting and safeguarding dialects while amusing users.

This app was my end-of-course project for 'System Design and Development Practice' in my undergraduate studies. I took on the roles of team leader, product designer, and front-end developer. The score for this course came from a combined assessment by the professor and external judges, including software engineers and product managers from Alibaba and NetEase. Our team achieved the highest score in the entire department.

Daily dialect-dubbing check-ins

Daily dialect-dubbing check-ins update movie or song clips for users to dub and learn dialects. They provide fresh topics for users to discuss.

Video production tool

The dialect mini-video production tool integrates functions such as shooting, dubbing, muting, filtering, editing, compositing, and material provision. It serves as a significant productivity tool to ensure the content source for the home page.
